About Us

Our Story

Where It All Began

Welcome to Rose Collins, where craftsmanship meets couture in the realm of headwear. Founded and led by our visionary master milliner, Rose Collins, each piece is a testament to her unparalleled passion for artisanal excellence and sartorial elegance.

Rose, a Zimbabwean milliner based in the UK, stumbled upon the art of millinery serendipitously in 2014. While seeking ways to revive damaged hats for her bridal boutique in Zimbabwe, Rose attended a workshop with Rose Corie, the late Queen’s Mother’s milliner. Encouraged by Ms. Corie, Rose tried her hand at making a fascinator and was immediately captivated. This led her to enrol in a beginner’s workshop and embark on a journey of mastering the craft.

Since then, Rose has honed her skills through training with some of the world’s top milliners. Quickly  establishing herself as a formidable presence in the industry. Her professional achievements include crafting hats for the West End Musical “Pretty Woman,” collaborating with Vogue UK for photoshoots, serving as a milliner for Alton Towers themed nights, and creating hats for the Housewives of Cheshire Royal Ascot at Home event in 2020.
